Where we are staying

Coliving is the best way to connect with other like-minded nomads. You get your own space while at the same time being able to share daily goals over coffee in the morning, take a swim break in the afternoon or cook together in the evenings. You’ll never feel alone, but your personal time and work will always be respected.

We confirm our coliving villas 2-3 months before start date & place participants 30 days prior to start. Here are some of the options we are looking at (Subject to availability)

Why we love Cape Town

Hike up Table Mountain

Cape Town is based on the slopes of the epic Table Mountain range, officially dubbed as one of the 7 Wonders of Nature worldwide.
For an easy climb, head up Lion’s head at sunset for panoramic views and see Robben Island in the distance. For more experienced climbers, take on Table Mountain or simple head up in the Cable Car, not to be missed!

See the Big Five

Do you know what they are? Tick off seeing lions, rhinos, elephants, Cape buffalo and leopards off your bucket list. Not to mention giraffes, hippos and crocodiles – excited yet?
Head to the closest game reserve two hours outside of Cape Town for your African safari experience or head up the Garden route if you have more time & visit Addo Elephant park.

Go vineyard hopping

Cape Town is one of the best wine destinations in the world with over 560 vineyards in the region. Located only 45 minutes outside the city center you can explore multiple wine farms and go wine tasting. Visit Franschhoek to go on the iconic wine tram that takes you to different wine farms with a complimentary glass of champagne on board.

Visit the Southern tip of Africa

Take a drive down the south peninsula, only 30 minutes from the city centre and visit Cape Point – where the Atlantic & Indian oceans meet.
Stop at Boulders Beach to chill with the penguins, stroll around Kalk Bay and look for antiques or head to Muizenburg and learn to surf. There’s so much to do in and around Cape Town.

FAQs

Simply apply here to sign up for this retreat. The online application process takes less than a minute. We will then process your application and determine whether you would be a good fit for the retreat. If so you will receive an email from your retreat coordinator within 48 hours, confirming acceptance onto the retreat and next steps.

We belive in inclusivity & diversity, welcoming people onto the retreat from all over the world & all backgrounds. The only criteria is that you are able to work remotely and have a open-minded and enthusiastic attitude.

Normally we get digital nomad ranging between 25 – 55+ who are from all over the world.

Yes, of course. As long as you are able to work remotely we will feel super priveladged to host you on your first leg of your digital nomad journey.

Yup, this is a coworking retreat for digital nomads – so yeah, not a holiday. We all have different work times and we respect each other. Whether you need to work 40 hours a week or 4 – we believe in creating a productive environment for everyone.

All rooms are private en-suite (has it’s own private bathroom). They all have comfortable queen beds. They are bright and sunny, spacious with plenty of cupboard room.

We do have one room which is a twin share – enquire at contact@workwanderers.com for info on that one.

Unfortunately we can’t accommodate children at this time but if there is enough interest in the future – would be open to running a family style retreat.

Cancellation Policy:
● Cancelled 60 days in advance of coliving: 50% refund
● Cancelled 45-59 days weeks in advance of coliving: 25% refund
● Cancelled 0-44 days in advance of coliving: No refund

Here is a list of countries that are exempt from getting a visa before arrival.  The majority of passport holdes will get a 90 day visa on arrival which can be extended.

If your country is not on the list – please look into your visa requirements through the Department of Home Affiars South Africa site.

We strongly recommend getting travel insurance when travelling to South Africa as the public healthcare system is not good. With travel insurance you will get access to private healthcare which is first class in SA.

Nope. If you feel sick, just distance yourself and stay hygeinic as you would normally.

If you get COVID-19 on the retreat, please make your retreat leader aware, isolate yourself where possible and be respectful to housemates.
