Meet Andrae Smith
"I built Work Wanderers because nobody should have to figure out the nomad life alone."
Andrae Smith is a South African entrepreneur and the founder of Work Wanderers. After feeling stuck on the traditional corporate path, she left her role as Head of Marketing in 2018 to build a location-independent business.
Since then, she has organized co-living programs, retreats, and meetups for digital nomads in places like Cape Town, Bali, Egypt, and Turkey, building a global community of thousands.
In 2024, she hosted the first Nomad Week in Cape Town, which is now an annual event bringing together 200+ digital nomads.
Andrae believes travel and flexible online careers should be accessible to anyone willing to pursue a different path. 🌍
