One of the best kept secrets in Canggu is the Dip & Doze Hostel vegan buffet. From 4pm everyday, head on over to the rooftop terrace of this modern hostel and enjoy an unlimited, delicious and high quality vegan buffet while looking over the rice terraces in Canggu. It only costs IDR 50k and is such a steal. Get some epic cocktails while you’re there and meet other nomads and backpackers from around the world!

Get a massage at your own villa

You heard right! No need to go anywhere. Simple order a massage therapist through the handy Gojek App and enjoy a hour long massage for only $7-$10.

Walk through a fridge into a Bar!

Canggu’s very own speakeasy. Drive down the Canggu shortcut with your mates and park near Pretty Poison. Then head to the Black Cat Mini Mart and casually open a beverages fridge door and find the secret passage to a hidden bar.

Very cool experience, cheap booze, quality music and a pool table – you can’t go wrong!

There are a bunch of food and clothing market events that take place weekly in Canggu. Here are some to keep in mind:

Gypsy Market: Head to La Lugana Beach Bar on a Sunday from 4pm and stroll through the extensive market showcasing organic products from a local farm and various handcrafted items by local vendors. Expect fairy lights, live music and a great vibe. It’s also completely FREE!

Organic Sunday Market: This market takes place each Sunday near Echo beach and is for anyone who is looking to buy fresh, organic produce. There is also baked treats, live music and some local crafts.

Old Man’s Market: Old Man’s is a very popular bar in Canggu overlooking Batu Balong Beach. On the last Sunday of each month it hosts a large market filled with clothes, organic foods, crafts and more!

Instead of paying heaps of cash at the premium beach bars in Canggu, head to the casual beach bars on Berewa Beach and sip on a coconut or Bintang while you watch the beautiful colours of the sunset. Laugh with friends, listen to live music, take a dip in the ocean or just kick back and relax after a long day of working remotely.
